The Atlas Water Resistive Barrier System works like a house wrap with the benefits of labor and materials savings on residential or light commercial, wood and steel framed buildings.

By simply taping the joints and sealing and flashing the penetrations, Atlas Rboard, Energy Shield and Energy Shield Plus polyiso sheathing panels can seal up the building envelope to provide code compliant water resistance in the same time it takes to hang traditional sheathing.


Designed as a substrate for polymer based exterior coatings, this one-step product often eliminates the need for solid sheathing as a backing. EIFS mesh is required.


Rboard® is Atlas’ most universal sheathing product. Rboard® is non-reflective and can be used behind wood, brick, vinyl, aluminum and hardboard sidings.


Energy Shield®, a foil-faced sheathing, may be used with virtually any exterior wall cladding, providing the highest R-value available.


Energy Shield Plus is the non-reflective version of Energy Shield, plus non-reflective trilaminate facers to ease the installation process.
