Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data for sales trends and forecasting purposes
  • Analyze information and develops recommendations to drive sales opportunities, improve margins and increase inventory turns
  • Monitor exception reports as well as sets-up and monitors SKU replenishment standards and status
  • Recommend category inventory levels to achieve optimal profitability, ensures maximum turn and in-stock position
  • Support strategic planning functions including identifying key advertising drivers for sales development
  • Generate and adjust purchase orders daily to provide optimal inventory flow to maximize sales
  • Work closely with Atlas plant personnel to facilitate a timely and accurate order fulfillment process
  • Maintain productive working relationships with Menards employees, suppliers, and customers; promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the Company; ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Forecast and tracks daily sales, replenishment scheduling, and logistics coordination that provides for effective and efficient order fulfillment
  • Utilize analytical skills  to identify shortage opportunities, uncovers causes, proposes solutions and drives change
  • Demonstrate ability to complete complex projects while simultaneously meeting objectives, timeliness, and achieving positive financial results for Menards and Atlas Roofing Corporation
  • Travel at least one day a month to Menard’s locations

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ supply chain/logistics experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, employees, and the general public
  • Possess intermediate level math skills
  • Commits to the highest standards of moral and legal conduct
  • Act justly in all business dealings
  • Possess necessary critical thinking skills to develop solutions and identify a course of action to resolve a problem or potential problem

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Four (4) year degree is required or equivalent experience
