Primary Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for coordinating most aspects of HR and safety for the Martinsville facility including benefits administration, maintaining all personnel and safety file compliance, maintaining the HRIS system, recruitment and retention, onboarding and continued training and development, and performance management.
  • Responsible for all aspects of employment administration including coordinating review process, compensation programs, policy and program administration, and employee relations activities.


  • This position requires 3-5 years experience in Human Resources.
  • Generalist experience and safety a plus/preferred. Experience working in a team environment, yet able to be self motivated.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated knowledge in most aspects of HR
  • Interpersonal communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to work with a team or independently
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Multi-task and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Possess computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, etc.

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • 2 or 4 year degree in Human Resources or related field
