The EDI Analyst is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and maintaining the business-critical Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The EDI Analyst will also act as a liaison between business teams, the application development technical team, and trading partners to deliver cost-effective and high-quality electronic exchanges of information.
Collaborate with business teams, trading partners, and application developers to gather, document, build, and test EDI solutions.
Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain EDI transactions.
Develop, enhance, and maintain maps for both inbound and outbound transactions.
Identify and implement cost-effective process improvements.
Provide training to business users on EDI-related policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain EDI documentation.
Travel estimated at 10%.
Minimum of 5 years' experience.
Experience with PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain application and EDI integration.
Experience with outsourced/cloud-hosted environments.
Experience in a multi-site manufacturing company with EDI.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes and data related to EDI
Knowledge of Banking processes and data related to EDI
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain, Oracle databases, and EDI integration.
Knowledge of process and file management on Windows servers and Linux servers.
PC skills with knowledge of windows, file/folder structures.
Highly motivated with the ability to self-start, prioritize, multi-task and work in a team setting.

Education, Licenses & Certification
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
Knowledge of EDI, X12 standards and practices, and EDI translators
Knowledge of EDI 850, 855, 856, 870, 810, 820, 823, 824, 404, 864 Transactions
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AS2, VAN data communications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with EDI Translators, e.g. Gentran
While performing the duties of this position, daily activities of standing, sitting, and walking can be done at will.
