Duties include ensuring production and corresponding paperwork is correct and complete; enforcing policies and procedures; operating machines and loading trucks when needed; coordinating department work schedule; and leading the work team. This is a very hands-on position and requires demonstrated interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Daily overtime and some Saturday hours are required.
Must have prior experience leading production/manufacturing work teams, experience coordinating various parts of the production process from scheduling machines to shipping product.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must have the ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as with the team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated interpersonal communication skills, computer skills (word and excel), as well as general knowledge of production/manufacturing environments. Must be able to effectively coordinate quality, safety, and production requirements. Must have the ability to read tape measure and lift/move heavy material.
Education, Licenses & Certification
High school graduate or equivalent; additional course work a plus.
