As part of the customer operations team, this position manages the freight component of the customer experience including supervising freight personnel and tactical & strategic components of the transportation of our products and other items.
Supervision experience strongly preferred, and prior experience in the freight industry a plus but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to multi-task, learn and retain information quickly, problem-solve and make good decisions quickly and efficiently, and supervise freight staff.
Verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal communication skills, and computer skills are required.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are key success factors.
Successful candidates will have initiative, and have great attention to detail and follow through.
Knowledge of normal business/office practices with regard to confidentiality, record keeping, etc.
Education, Licenses & Certification
2 or 4 year degree in related field strongly preferred
