Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with local Atlas sales representatives to promote new Atlas products
  • Implement pricing and marketing strategies to maximize sales, gross margins, and profits
  • Develop relationships with existing distributor accounts, look to identify and grow business opportunities with other distributor accounts, and develop strong working relations with key contractors, architects, specifiers, building owners, and builders
  • Assist the RMM with pricing, the budgeting process, with regional personnel decisions, and with developing sales and market reports for corporate management
  • Manage sensitive pricing information and other important and sensitive documents 
  • District Manager will assist RMM with Monthly Highlight Report as well as evaluating residential region sales reports 
  • Maintain an extensive knowledge and background in internal and competitor residential and commercial products 
  • Maintain daily contact with the RMM, the regional AE’s, the plant personnel and plant manager, various managers in the Atlanta sales office, as well as the regional sales representatives for Atlas 
  • Manage and achieve a volume and profit plan based on a specific territory within the regional boundary


  • Preferably a minimum of three (3) years polyiso sales experience
  • Preferably a minimum of five (5) years’ experience within the commercial roofing industry or building envelope either with a competitor, contractor, or distributor

  • The ability to make sound business decisions and judgments in order to maximize profitability for the company.
  • Ability to read, analyze financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community
  • Effectively presents information to top management and/or public groups
  • Advanced math skills (Able to do statistical analysis, budgeting, and forecasting)
  • Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Email, and PeopleSoft)
  • Analyzes costs, benefits and risk of a decision and analyzes chances for success of a decision
  • Identifies concepts and issues of a problem and applies sound judgment and reason to the solution
  • Maintains current industry knowledge, monitors industry to assess new developments, and anticipates industry trends

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Four (4) year degree in a relevant area of study
