The Sr Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate processing, balancing, auditing and completion for all assigned pay processing groups.
Serves as the primary analyst responsible for uploading, balancing and troubleshooting data files containing earnings, deductions or payroll memo related data and coordinates this process with other payroll team members and assisting them with balancing and processing as needed.
Works collaboratively with payroll management and team members to modify and enhance payroll tools necessary to meet organizational control and documentation requirements.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of their work.
Responsible for all payroll tax deposits/filings for both USD and CAD payrolls
Participates with payroll activities for the organizations merger/acquisition initiatives.
Responsible for maintenance of payroll process documentation.
Works closely with HR organizations with regards to: bonus calculations, financial data for bonus programs, and calculation of fringe benefit rates, manual adjustments to benefit plans, leave of absence payments.
Lead of PeopleSoft hourly payroll team & super users
Funding for 401k and RRSP to third party vendor
Accurately and timely responds to business data needs creating Ad Hoc reports or participates in formal report creation as needed.
Supports and assists the Payroll Tax analyst with quarter and year-end processes.
Minimum 2-3 years related work experience in accounting and/or payroll administration.
Work experience using an ERP computer system is beneficial.
Self-initiative and excellent analytical skills required.

Education, Licenses & Certification
A four-year degree in accounting or business related field from an accredited college or university
