Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops a working knowledge of all HR and Payroll related computer systems, integrations and interfaces.
  • Partners with SMEs to understand reporting needs and serves as Tier 2/Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve HRMS technical issues, process flaws and new user setup.
  • Provide system security administration for various HRISplatforms
  • Subject matter expert on data management including mapping, interfaces, and data integrity best practices
  • Liaison with third parties and other key business stakeholders to ensure all interfaces are functioning appropriately according to automatedschedules
  • Oversees auditing and maintenance of employee records, including personnel status updates, terminations, and new hires.
  • Assures accuracy of all reported data coming out of HRIS systems; Defines and implements data integrity standards and controls.
  • Partners with IT, Finance, Professional Development, Marketing and other departments to provide essential reporting to support management
  • Develops standard and customized reports by responding to ad-hoc requests from HR, Payroll, Managers and staff utilizing appropriate reportingtools.
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of HR and payroll policies, procedures, trends and practices; provides routine and ad-hoc analytical compensation/ financial analysis to HRLeadership.
  • Develops and creates PeopleSoft reports and data queries to extract information and perform analysis; configures and administers systems by updating and modifying codes, tables, reports and other systems to meet the changing requirements.
  • Leads integration for all HR systems including change control migration considerations and systems change management; programs and documents standard operating procedures and workflow processes; develops and maintains custom SQL storedprocedures.
  • Prepares forecast reports, explanation and variance analysis for HR with focus on employee and position data
  • Reviews position control information; assures, records and complies withestablished guidelines and coding standards; provides support including data auditing, batch processing and reporting.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst
  • Self-initiative and excellent analytical skills 
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Kronos and ADP

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong project management experience
  • Excellent Computer skills and knowledge
  • PC Literate, ability to effectively utilize Excel (spreadsheet), Word, email, Power Point at an advanced level
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly (both orally and written) to personnel from a variety of functional areas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of personnel.
  • Ambitious and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work under stress to enforce to tight deadlines.

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • A four-year degree in computer science or related field.

Additional Information

  • Repetitive computer and administrative tasks require constant hand activity, including grasp/squeeze/and handle, and flex and extent wrist.
  • Must be able to constantly touch, feel, and key.
  • Both hands must be used in performing major tasks.
  • Employee has to be able to answer customer complaints and work closely with co-workers.
  • 15-20% Travel required.
