Primary Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for processing customer orders; proofs orders for accuracy for all WEBTECH products (Paper, Coated and Converting Services) and facilities
  • Takes any other appropriate actions to ensure order accuracy  
  • Process daily and weekly reports requested by customers
  • Maintains customer paperwork (filing, customer information books, pricing/quotes book)
  • Interacts with Production Planning and Freight to schedule orders; communicates delivery information to customers
  • Assists with investigation of customer complaints and returns; takes appropriate action to prevent re-occurrence when appropriate
  • Performs sales initiatives by contacting current, former, or prospective clients to secure orders
  • Provides support and information to sales force; works closely with sales force to service clients
  • Assists the Finance department with daily invoicing and collection of past due accounts as needed for WEBTECH customers
  • Investigates back orders and takes appropriate steps to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyzes customer ordering patterns and makes recommendations to improve material efficiencies
  • Utilizes reporting tools to improve efficiency and make decisions
  • Travel as requested and required

Experience

  • Minimum of one-year experience in sales, customer service, or related position.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • PC Literate, ability to effectively utilize Excel (spreadsheet), Word, email, Power Point
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of detail regarding customer and products
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (both orally and written) to personnel from a variety of functional areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of personnel
  • Able to analyze costs, benefits, risk and applies sound judgment to find a solution to problems
  • Provides relevant and timely information in a clear manner
  • Services both internal and external customers professionally and provides superior services and value to all customers

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
