Primary Responsibilities

  • Administers corporate HR policies and programs as directed.   
  • Assists with the recruitment effort for non-exempt positions; which may include writing and placing job advertisements, screening, interviewing, and assisting with the selection process.
  • Conducts new hire and benefits orientations and forwards paperwork to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Audits labor hours for payroll processing and tracks employee attendance.
  • Responds to employment verifications and basic payroll information requests.
  • Performs daily maintenance of the HRIS and ATS, verifies the accuracy of information and assists with audits or reports as requested.
  • Administers FMLA and ADA requests.
  • Addresses routine questions about benefits, compensation and company policies.  
  • Assists with the administration of corporate HR programs such as employee learning management and training program and annual motor vehicle reporting; other program administration may be included. 
  • Acts as a witness and documents meetings as necessary.
  • Coordinates employee appreciation events.
  • Maintains organized files and completes reports as necessary.
  • Assists with training on OSHA required safety topics and promoting a Best in Class safety culture
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • At least 1 year experience as a HR coordinator, or related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be fluent in the English language, written and spoken.
  • Must be able to calculate simple math.
  • Must have basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

 

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • An Associate degree or 2 years of college preferred.
