Primary Responsibilities

  • Roll start-up board from exit of the laminator and cutting board at the beginning and end of each run.
  • Product stacking, visual checking of the board as stacked and removal of defective boards.
  • Be prepared to respond to any jam on the line, by removing boards or otherwise resolving the problem
  • Perform routine cleanup in the production area including dust bricks.
  • Perform product cut downs using the panel saw.
  • Operate the Label printer including the changing of the label stock.
  • Operate the scoring equipment for in-line custom product cutting.
  • Operate the shift code printer including daily cleaning of the print head.
  • Operation of side trim, cross cut and pop-up saws for each production run.
  • Operate the conveyors to change individual speeds for best operation.
  • Routine checks of product quality and size on an hourly basis.
  • Properly records run results and scrap reasons with the breakdown of the defects.
  • Timely communication of product quality issues or other problems to the machine operators.
  • Provide training for dry end area to temporary and Atlas employees. 
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Regular, consistent physical attendance


  • Forklift experience a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Verbal and written communication in English
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Basic computer skills

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Additional Information

  • At various times may be required to lift 50 to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to stump, bend, kneel, climb
