Primary Responsibilities

The EDI Analyst is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and maintaining the business-critical Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The EDI Analyst will also act as a liaison between business teams, the application development technical team, and trading partners to deliver cost-effective and high-quality electronic exchanges of information.

  • Support, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain EDI transactions.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain maps for both inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team, business teams, and trading partners to gather and document requirements and build and test EDI solutions.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective process improvements.
  • Provide training to business users on EDI-related policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain EDI documentation.
  • Travel estimated at 10%.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in 850, 855, 856, 860, 870, 810, 820, 823, 824, 404, 864 transactions
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AS2, VAN data communications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain application and EDI integration
  • Experience with outsourced/cloud-hosted environments
  • Experience in a multi-site manufacturing company with EDI

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of EDI, X12 standards and practices, and EDI translators
  • Knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes and data related to EDI
  • Knowledge of Banking processes and data related to EDI
  • Knowledge of Jitterbit / EDI Integration
  • Knowledge of process and file management on Windows servers and Linux servers.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to self-start, prioritize, multi-task and work in a team setting.
  • Strong inter-personal skills to work in a team environment, and to communicate with internal and external teams effectively and in a professional manner at all times.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in fast-paced and challenging environments.
  • Strong decision-making skills with attention to detail and positive results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong professional skills for representing Atlas and communicating with external resources.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to determine root cause and solve problems.

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.
