Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all areas of Product Management lifecycle including: concept initiation, feasibility study,product design and development, testing and compliance requirements definition, and productlaunch.
  • Involved with defining the strategy and roadmap of the products; identifies business opportunitiesfor existing product segment as well as gaps and opportunities fordevelopment.
  • Works closely with Sales, Finance, Technical, R & D and Operations to ensure revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Communicates effectively across all functional areas of the division and Atlas as required to gather and disseminate information, create buy-in for product line initiatives and guide agreed initiativesto successfulconclusions.
  • Performs market research; understands existing and target markets, like-products and the competition for all current and future productlines.
  • Identifies areas where there is innovation potential and identifies product solutions thatcapitalize on thatpotential
  • Developseffectiveanalysesthatwillbeusedbytheorganizationtogainresources,develop&launch new products or to eliminate non-performingproducts.
  • Executes Market-Segmentation process whenrequired.
  • Manages introductory stage of product launch in target markets. Analyzes conversions, trends,and successes.
  • Travels to customers, vendors, other Atlas locations, and trade shows as required (30 – 50%)


  • Construction industry background preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in market segmentation, branding and brand development, pricing/margin analysis and leadershipability

Education, Licenses & Certification

  • Bachelor Science in a related field, MBApreferred
  • Minimum of 3 years Product Management experience ispreferred
  • Passport for international travel asrequired
