Atlas Roofing Corporation is proud to announce that it has received a Gold Award for Best B2B Custom Event in the 2017 Hanley Wood Brand Builder Awards competition.
Brand Builder Awards honor excellence in marketing in the residential and commercial design and construction industries. More than 80 companies submitted entries in nine categories, including traditional advertising campaigns, social marketing strategies and channel marketing programs. Companies selected for recognition successfully launched campaigns that were not only innovative but also effective in generating sales, motivating buying behavior and inspiring customer loyalty.

The Atlas Roadshow custom event initiative began in 2009 with large-scale events in major cities across the United States and targeted conversion shows in small to mid-size markets. Each event features product and sales training, marketing program updates, presentations from third-party industry resources, giveaways, food and a fun environment that keeps attendees engaged. Members of state and local contractors’ associations are invited to the event so they can network and strengthen connections within the industry.
The award was presented Sept. 12 in Chicago during the Hanley Wood Foundations Conference. Hanley Wood is the premier information, media, event, and strategic marketing services company serving the residential and commercial, design and construction industries. Its Construction Industry Database provides business intelligence and data-driven services. The company also produces award-winning media, both digital and print, high-profile executive events, and strategic marketing solutions.
A jury of experts from all areas of marketing evaluated the submissions according to pre-determined criteria established prior to the call for entries. Criteria for the B2B custom event category included having defined goals and expected ROI, an integrated marketing plan to acquire the proper audience and integration of a lead-management process to ensure engagement results in nurturing customers to a sale.
