ATLANTA — Atlas Wall CI, a division of Atlas Roofing Corporation, has unveiled two new products that perfectly pair versatility with energy savings.
These state-of-the-art panels are comprised of a closed cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core, faced with an embossed and scrub-resistant, plain white acrylic-coated aluminum foil facer on the front and a reflective foil facer on the back. They are both Class A fire-rated.
This launch marks the first time that Atlas Wall CI, which manufactures Rboard® and a line of EnergyShield® exterior wall insulation products, is offering products specifically designed for the interior wall. Infinish ES and InFinish ES2 are intended for use on interior walls, or interior ceilings, but not both walls and ceilings at the same time, without requiring a code approved thermal barrier (approval per NFPA 286) in certain building types. Infinish ES2 has added fiberglass fibers to meet ASTM C1289 Type I, Class 2.
“User feedback has been highly commendable regarding these new products, Infinish ES and Infinish ES2,” said Alec Minné, director of marketing for the Wall CI Board Division. “Atlas Wall CI is very proud of its latest offerings, which specifiers appreciate because they can be used in various applications.”
A leader in energy conservation, Atlas Wall CI is pleased to point out Infinish ES and Infinish ES2 deliver high R-values — 6.5 per nominal inch. The foam cores are made from polyiso, the most thermally efficient, commonly available insulation.
